We have moved towards developing our product in a more conscious way where the filling technology (Sorona Eco-efficient Performance Fibre) is partially plant-based, made with 37% industrial dent corn & 63% polyester. When compared to traditional faux down filling (e.g Nylon), the production of Sorona filling uses 30% less energy and releases 63% fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Not only is ‘Sorona’ a sustainable fibre, it retains more warmth with less filling and weight, creating a more comfortable puffer that doesn’t compromise on quality. Sorona filling maintains its loft after every wash providing long-lasting shape and warmth so you can stay toasty warm in your Toast Society puffer season after season.
